Fair use

Fair Use Policy

Sparks Provider is priced for genuine day-to-day use by one provider organisation. This policy keeps unlimited access clear, reliable and fair for every customer. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

Last updated 22 September 2026

What unlimited means

We do not charge per worker or per participant, and ordinary business growth does not breach this policy. Your subscription can be used by the authorised team of the provider organisation it was created for, for its genuine participants, workers and operational records.

Unlimited does not mean unbounded automated traffic, unrelated file storage, resale, or sharing one subscription between unrelated businesses.

Ordinary fair use

Fair use includes normal provider work such as:

  • adding and managing genuine workers and participants;
  • creating rosters, notes, records, agreements, invoices and reports;
  • using included integrations and service messages as intended;
  • keeping relevant business documents and history; and
  • reasonable imports, exports and other activity performed by people running the subscribed organisation.

What is not fair use

You must not use Sparks Provider to:

  • share, resell or sublicense one account to an unrelated business;
  • operate as a software bureau or host records for unrelated organisations under one subscription;
  • run bots, scrapers, bulk automation or other unusually high-volume activity that is not part of genuine provider operations;
  • use the service as general-purpose storage for duplicate, unrelated or excessive files;
  • avoid product or account boundaries, interfere with security, or degrade the service for others; or
  • do anything prohibited by the Terms of Use or applicable law.

If use looks unusual

We do not use this policy to penalise ordinary growth, and it does not create surprise overage charges. If activity appears materially outside normal provider use, we will normally contact the account owner, explain the specific concern and allow a reasonable opportunity to provide context or correct it.

We may ask the organisation to stop the affected activity, remove unrelated or duplicate material, use a more suitable technical method, or agree on an arrangement for materially different use. Any temporary limit will be targeted to the affected activity where reasonably possible.

We may act immediately where reasonably necessary to protect people, data, service security, legal obligations or platform availability. Suspension or closure is reserved for serious, urgent or repeated misuse, and remains subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will publish the current version here and give reasonable notice of a material change where practical. A change does not remove rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

If your business has an unusual workflow or expects a very large import, contact hello@sparksprovider.app before it begins. We would rather plan it with you than make assumptions about your use.
